What identification should I bring?
Bring acceptable current government-issued photo identification. Text ahead if you have an identification concern.
Can someone sign for an absent person?
A signer generally must personally appear for the requested notarial act. A notary cannot notarize the signature of an absent signer as though that person appeared.
Can you tell me which form or certificate I need?
No. The document recipient or an attorney must tell you what document and notarial act are required.
Can you explain the legal effect of my document?
No. A notary is not acting as an attorney and cannot provide legal advice.
Do you provide witnesses?
Ask when scheduling. Witness availability must be confirmed in advance and the witness must be eligible for the document.
Can you notarize at a hospital or nursing home?
Mobile appointments may be available. The signer must be willing, able to communicate directly, and able to complete the requested act.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Same-day service depends on availability, location, and document requirements. Texting is the fastest way to check.
Where do you travel?
The primary service area is Waycross and Ware County. Other South Georgia locations may be considered based on distance and availability.
